The Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District (YDWBID) presented Let’s Dance Downtown! an evening of dancing on the world-famous 5,000 square-foot historic ballroom at The Roosevelt Ballroom, 2-8 Hudson Street, Yonkers, from 7:30 to 10:00 PM, Friday, March 28.

The fun-filled dance extravaganza featured D.J. music by Pinilla Entertainment.  The admission cost was $15, payable at the door.

Built in 1904, The Roosevelt Ballroom, which was recently renovated, boasts 30-foot high ceilings, massive skylights, faux alabaster chandeliers and gold leaf cornices.

Let’s Dance Downtown!  is one of several new and exciting events that the YDWBID is introducing this year as part of its mission to attract visitors to the Yonkers downtown district that is undergoing a revitalization.
