2008 BID Board Elections
The slate as presented was elected; there was one nomination from the floor.

Below are the results from the biannual election of the YDWBID Board of Directors that took place on Thursday, March 13th at the 2008 BID Annual Meeting at the Roosevelt Ballroom:
Class A Slate: Ayuso: 39; Carmichael: 39; Dearden: 40; Klein: 36; Leggio: 39; Pinto: 39; Sprayregen: 39.
Nominated from the floor: Debra Cohen (CH Martin): 5
Three (3) ballots were disqualified as they had 8 votes. On the Class A ballot, it was clearly stated that
“If a ballot contains more than seven (7) votes, it will be disqualified.”

Class B: There were no nominations from the floor from Class B and a single vote from Secretary Pinto for the Class B slate of Bouet and Metrena was cast.

The Downtown Star award was presented to Eduardo Crespo..

Plaques of appreciation were presented to outgoing Board Chair and President John D. Kolenda, Esq.
and Class A Board member Barbara Vlahopoulos.
