As part of Yonkers Business Week 2007, a series of six Yonkers DPW trucks were outfitted with an artistic "skin." Each truck, designed by a different artist, was paraded at a special unveiling at Yonkers Raceway during Yonkers Business Week. A request from our director Steve Sansone to DPW Commissioner John Liszewski resulted in one of these fabulous art trucks being assigned to a route in the D/W BID. This truck was designed by artist John D'Allessandro.
