Congratulations to Rick Magder, Executive Director of Groundwork Yonkers (whose offices are located in the Yonkers D/W BID) who was selected by 1010Wins  and the New York Post as one of five finalists in their Tomorrow's Newsmakers award program.  Mr. Magder is being honored for five years of accomplishments building gardens, restoring local rivers, and supporting neighborhood revitalization in Yonkers and other parts of lower Westchester. He was featured on the radio and in the New York Post (Sept. 2006).
